Matthew 21:1-11 On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode a donkey toward the gates of Jerusalem while crowds of people were waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosanna!" But, the Pharisees were angry and told Jesus, “Quiet your people down.” Jesus replied, “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Maundy Thursday - April 17, 7:00 Pm
Maundy Thursday derives its name from the words Jesus spoke to his disciples on this evening: “A new command I give you: Love one another" (John 13:34). The Latin word for command is mandatum, from which we get the word Maundy. It was this Holy Thursday that Jesus first gave his disciples his true body and blood, given and shed for the forgiveness of sins, instituting the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Good Friday - April 18, 7:00 Pm
John 19:30 Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Jesus was true God and true man and lived a perfect life, yet he died on the cross. His death was valuable enough to pay for the sins of the entire world, including yours and mine.
